Pequod Fishing specialises in fishing the Kattegat and Skagerrak and the boat departs normally from its home port, Dock pier at Eriksberg in Gothenburg. Apart from annual maintenance, we operate throughout the year.

Length of trips and fishing locations vary depending on the season and the target species. We fish the wrecks and underwater reefs for cod, coalfish, ling and pollack throughout the year. April & May is the peak season for the fearsome wolffish.

From June to September, when the mackerel are often found in large schools in the Kattegat and Skagerrak, we try to run two 6-hour trips per day, weather permitting. Departure times are usually 07:00 and 14:00.

We cater for individuals & small groups booking places & parties chartering the whole boat.
